my organization
Hello my dears <3
Today is about one of the most important and first steps towards a successful year abroad: finding an exchange organization!
It is important that you have a thorough knowledge of the different offers.
For example, you can get information on the Internet and get the flyers and catalogues of the various organizations.
You can also visit the JuBi, which means "Jugendbildungsmesse" (Youth Education Fair). And it is a fair that takes place in different cities and where the different organizations and their stands are present.
The only important thing is that the exchange organization suits you and your wishes, as the different organizations also offer different countries and offers.
But now to my organization!
After a long search I have found "Youth for Understanding" - short: YFU- .
It is a non-profit association, which exists for about 60 years and offers exchange programs in about 50 different countries.
I have decided YFU, because not only their goals and their mission convinced me, but also the honorary engagement as well as the possibility to spend a year abroad in a country still "relatively unknown" to me. In addition it was important for me that it concerns a non profit organization, this means that not only the host families take up the pupils free of charge, but also the honorary responsible persons, aids, etc. their work from conviction and not for financial reasons exercise.
My previous experiences with YFU!
So far I have only had good experiences with Yfu. So I always felt in good hands and I could always turn to the staff if I had any questions or problems. In addition, the employees are very experienced and extremely friendly.
For this reason I think that YFU was the right decision.
That´s it for today!
All the best,
Lilli
